Camrose landlord complains of stolen appliances from former tenant – Camrose Police Report

From February 22 to 28, 2026, Camrose Police reported two vehicle collisions without injuries, a Check Stop with no issues, and multiple incidents including public intoxication, theft of $2,000 worth of merchandise, trespassing, and arrests for outstanding warrants. Other incidents involved drug-related obstruction and an animal bylaw offense.

Road Rage Incident in Camrose

A person reported an incident of road rage as they were entering Camrose. The operator of the subject vehicle stopped their vehicle at the red light on 73 Street, got out of their vehicle and retrieved a sledgehammer from the back of their vehicle allegedly brandishing it at the person reporting. Police located and stopped the subject vehicle. The operator of the subject vehicle was arrested for assault with a weapon. This matter is still under investigation.

Camrose Police investigate crypto fraud

A person reported being the victim of a crypto currency fraud. The subject of the fraud (reporting person) indicated they invested an initial $80,000 and when they attempted to withdraw from the investment they were told they would have to pay an additional $40,000 to access any funds.  When the reporting person refused the alleged fraudsters became verbally aggressive.

Uninsured and Unregistered vehicles causing issues for Camrose Police – Report

Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle equipment concerns (use of dealer licence plates.) Police determined the vehicle, which was recently purchased by the operator, had not been properly insured and registered as per requirements after purchase. The operator was charged, the dealer licence plate was seized and the vehicle was towed.
