AgKnow is conducting a new mental health survey, and the organization is looking for farm families to participate. The information gleaned from the survey helps shape mental health support for Alberta farm families, it says.

“In partnership with farms across Alberta, we’re driving meaningful change in mental health support for our
farming communities. As mental health programs begin to roll out across Canada, your voice becomes crucial in shaping these initiatives.”

The survey can be found at: agknow.ca/alberta-farm-mentalhealth-survey AgKnow says during
past surveys, responses have paved the way for tailored support programs that directly address unique challenges faced by Alberta farm families.

“By sharing your experiences and perspectives, you contribute to the development of resources specifically designed to meet your needs.” AgKnow’s vision is to create a shift in farming culture to one where
caring for mental health is a natural part of farm life. “We want to increase resiliency in farming
communities, de-stigmatize mental health, reduce barriers to services, and stay relevant and current with the issues impacting the agriculture industry in Alberta.”
