On June 12, Alberta RCMP investigated a hate-related vandalism incident at an energy company property in Hardisty, where a tipi, raised during a ceremony by Indigenous Elders, was defaced with offensive spray paint. Similar hate messages were found nearby. Authorities are seeking public assistance in solving these connected hate crimes.
