Camrose Police charge 2 after copper wire stolen from construction site

A person reported the theft of copper wire worth approximately $5,000 from a local construction business. The next day a person reported suspicious activity around the property of a local construction business. They provided police with a description of the vehicle involved. CCTV footage revealed the suspect vehicle.

$2500 in welding cables stolen off of truck in Camrose

From March 15 to 21, 2026, Camrose Police reported several incidents, including traffic violations for no insurance, thefts of welding cables and merchandise, fraud cases, an intoxicated male arrest, and an impaired driver found unconscious in her vehicle. Investigations are ongoing for multiple cases of theft and fraud.

Camrose police charge suspect after assault on restaurant employee

A 9-1-1 call reported an assault on an employee of a local restaurant by an unknown male subject. Police attended and noted the victim was in need of medical attention. EMS attended and transported the victim to St. Mary’s Hospital.

Road Rage Incident in Camrose

A person reported an incident of road rage as they were entering Camrose. The operator of the subject vehicle stopped their vehicle at the red light on 73 Street, got out of their vehicle and retrieved a sledgehammer from the back of their vehicle allegedly brandishing it at the person reporting. Police located and stopped the subject vehicle. The operator of the subject vehicle was arrested for assault with a weapon. This matter is still under investigation.
