The City of Camrose is looking for a new Chief of Police.
The city posted the job listing on Jan. 30, inviting applications from experienced and progressive senior policing professionals to lead the Camrose Police Service.
According to the posting, the successful candidate will be a forward-thinking and approachable leader with strong communication skills and a proven record in law enforcement.
The city is seeking a chief with recent operational experience, a background working with a police board or commission, and experience in strategic planning and budget oversight.
The new chief will also be expected to foster strong community partnerships, embrace innovative and technology-driven policing approaches, and maintain a visible presence in the community. Applications must be submitted in confidence to hr@camrose.ca by 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.
