Red Deer RCMP issued a missing person notice for Talon Horton, formerly from Forestburg, last month, as she has been missing since Feb. 16.

Alberta RCMP updated the case to a Child Search Alert for the 16-year-old in early March in the hopes of locating her faster. Red Deer RCMP say there is concern for her well-being. Horton is listed as being 5’5”, about 100 pounds, and now with black hair.

Talon had previously gone missing three times in 2025, according to RCMP bulletins, with updates each time that she’d been found safe.

If anyone has information about her whereabouts, you are asked to contact your local RCMP, or Red Deer RCMP Detachment, at 1-403-406-2200, Crime Stoppers, at 1-800-222-8477, or the Missing Children Society of Canada, at 1-800-661-6160 – email: tips@mcsc.ca
