Killam Health Centre Emergency Department (ED) will be temporarily closed due to a physician shortage during the following time:
Thursday October 30th, 2025 12:00 PM (Noon) until Monday November 3rd, 2025 at 08:00 AM
This is a temporary measure and Covenant Health is working to ensure community members continue to have access to the care they need during this time.
Patients are asked to call 911 if they have a medical emergency.
Other Emergency Departments include:
- Daysland Health Centre at 5920 51 Ave (30 km away) or
- Viking Health Centre at 5110 57 Ave (40 km away).
Individuals are reminded to call Health Link at 811, which is available 24/7 for non-emergency, health-related questions.
