Valley Ski Hill needs help in bid to win $250k prize

The Valley Ski Hill has been around for over 70 years, and has touched countless lives during the time it has operated. In many cases, there have been different generations of the same family returning to the hill year after year.

Now the ski hill needs help from those who grew up on its slopes, and those who continue to enjoy it today.

Valley Ski Hill has been nominated in the Kraft Heinz “Project Play” and support from the community in the form of supporting the nomination with photos, stories, and likes or shares means more points for their entry.

Hill supporters have until Sept. 22 to rally behind the nomination, by visiting kraftheinzprojectplay.com

This period of the contest, which started in August, is called the Rally, and it is an opportunity for the entire extended Flagstaff community to rally behind the Valley Ski Hill and share with the world just what this facility means to them personally and to the community as a whole.

The Ski Hill will gain 10 rally points for every nomination story submitted, five points for every share on Twitter, and three points for adding photos and videos of the hill.

The existing entries, photos and stories, can be found at www.kraftheinzprojectplay.com/en/nominations/#community/11E9C5D8CD644860929FE933AD94B2AC
