The graduating class of Central High Sedgewick Public School (CHSPS) came together on Saturday, Sept. 14 to celebrate their traditional fall graduation.

The Class of 2019 numbered 44, and all were present and accounted for during the evening.

Present Grade 12 student Ainslie Borth of Sedgewick was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening.

CHSPS teacher Heather Chevraux introduced each graduate as they took the stage.

Special guest speaker for the evening was former CHSPS Assistant Principal Richard Cowan, who explored the new beginnings theme, reassuring students that every new beginning represents an opportunity. He said for him, his years at Sedgewick were measurably some of the best of his career.

Cowan used humour and tales from his own life to drive his points home, and was very entertaining for the grads and friends and family.
