Camrose Police Report for the period from February 22 – 28, 2026
Police attended two motor vehicle collisions. No injuries reported.
Police conducted a Check Stop on February 28 at the junction of Highway 13 and Highway 13A. Forty vehicles were checked with no concerns.
Notable incidents
Public intoxication
A person attended Camrose Police Service station with an intoxicated female who was unable to provide an address for housing. The 35-year-old female was held in police cells until sober.
Theft
A representative of a local retail business reported theft of $2,000 worth of merchandise by two subjects. Police attended and searched the area for the suspects. This matter is still under investigation.
Trespass
Police attended a local bank to assist in removing a male who was violating a trespass notice. The 33-year-old male was issued a mandatory court violation.
Outstanding warrants
Police conducted a traffic stop on a known person with outstanding warrants. The male was arrested on warrants totalling $6,000.
Police conducted a traffic stop for expired vehicle registration. The driver, a 47-year-old male, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Tofield.
Police conducted a traffic stop for an equipment violation. The 37-year-old driver was arrested for outstanding warrants out of Camrose.
Tickets issued
A person reported a male subject sitting in a parked vehicle, possibly consuming alcohol. Police located the vehicle and subject and determined the vehicle had been parked for a long time. The 36-year-old male subject was issued several tickets and walked home.
Stolen appliances
A local landlord reported issues with an evicted tenant and when the landlord checked the residence to speak to the tenant, they noted it was vacant, however the washer and dryer were missing. This matter is still under investigation.
Obstruction
Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for vehicle equipment violations. Police observed and seized a bottle containing what was suspected to be GHB (Gamma-hydroxybutyrate, prohibited drug.) During the arrest the female attempted to destroy the illicit drug. The 33-year-old female was charged with obstruction and issued numerous violation tickets.
Public intoxication
A person attended Camrose Police Service station with an intoxicated female subject who did not want to return to their residence. The female was arrested for intoxication in a public place and held in police cells until sober.
Animal bylaw offence
A person reported their dog was attacked by another dog while at the public off-leash park. There were no visible signs of injury to the victim dog. This matter will continue investigation with City of Camrose Community Peace Officer.
