Forestburg TOPS chapter records 600 total pounds lost

Forestburg TOPS members were recently recognized in Red Deer, during Alberta Provincial Recognition Days for TOPS.

TOPS stands for ‘take off pounds sensibly’ and is an international organization founded in 1948.




Forestburg TOPS members were recognized for having lost over 22 pounds per person in 2018, making them the biggest losers.

Also receiving awards in their class were: Barbie Gladeau, Kirstan Kneller, Chad Thorp, and Lowell Murphy. The next Closest Chapter had an average loss of just over eight pounds per person.

Next up, Gladeau will be going to Portland, Oregon, in July to receive international recognition for the weight loss she has accomplished.
