Town of Killam welcomes Provincial Pee Wee Hockey teams

Several businesses in the Town of Killam have donated window space for signs welcoming seven teams to the Pee Wee D Provincial Playoffs, being held in Killam March 20-23. Volunteer painter Kari Fox-Newby, and her helpers, painted all the team’s logos on various windows throughout the town, from Highway frontage to Main Street.

Killam Minor Hockey organizers, after hundreds of man-hours of work, are ready to go, just waiting for teams to arrive Thursday, March 20. The official opening ceremonies will take place just after 7 p.m. at the Killam Agriplex on Friday, March 21.
