Killam woman paying it forward

Tracy Lindseth, a Killam mom and Educational Assistant working at the Sedgewick ECS, has a strong personal belief in paying it forward. That belief has led her this past year out of grieving from the loss of both her mom, Betty Cheram, and special aunt Sue Sparrow to cancer.

Lindseth says her brother participated in the Ride to Conquer Cancer in the fall, adding, “I’m not physically able to do that.”

She supported him at that event, however, although she thought it would be difficult to be there, but said that instead it made a huge impact on her.

“There were groups from huge corporations, to single riders there,” she says, “with so many riding for so many different reasons, either battling cancer, in remission, or having lost someone to cancer.

“After that, I felt it was my turn to step up, but at the time, I still wasn’t sure what was right for me.”
