Youth leader encourages teens to make a resolution to volunteer
As 2013 kicks off with a fairly promising start, people are already beginning to fulfill their New Year’s resolutions or they are still stumped on what to improve in their lifestyles this year.
For many teenagers in the Flagstaff area, and around Canada, it seems as if they are still trying to find the perfect resolution that will really make a difference.
Most people in today’s age are constantly retreating to the common resolutions such as weight loss or managing debt. However, there is far more that one can do to help him or her feel as if they are really helping out the community and making themselves better people.
Shane Feldman, 18-year-old founder and Executive Director of the youth organization, Count Me In, is urging teens to start a crazy and selfless new movement for 2013.
The Ontario native is a motivational speaker who inspires youth to volunteer and give back to their community.
For the new year, his resolution is to make volunteering the coolest trend in 2013. The young adult is encouraging others like him to actively support and help out in their community as a resolution to make themselves happier and more experienced people.
