The Killam Wheat Kings of the NEAJBHL split their games on the weekend.

The team travelled to St. Paul on Friday, Jan. 18 where they came away with a 9-3 win over the Canadiens.

The Wheaties hosted the Cold Lake Ice, who are currently in first place in the NEAJBHL, on Saturday, Jan. 19.

A very large crowd was in attendance to catch one of the best games of the season played on home ice.

The Wheat Kings out-played, outshot (38-22), and out-hit the Ice; however they lost 4-3.

There was no scoring in the first period but there was plenty of action.
