Hardisty Firemen serve Breakfast for Fire Prevention Week
To acknowledge and celebrate Fire Prevention Week, the hardworking members of the Hardisty Volunteer Fire Department served a pancake breakfast to the town’s people on Saturday, Oct. 13.
It was a chilly morning, but the guys kept the grill fired up all morning. They said the crowd was down a little from previous years, but they still managed to feed around 100 people. It was a very busy weekend, with the Fire Department and Volunteer Appreciation Awards being held that same evening.
