Wheat Kings advance to NEAJBHL Finals and Provincials
The Killam Wheat Kings were up three games on the Vegreville Rangers and looking to clinch a spot in the finals as they headed to Vegreville for game five on Wednesday, Mar. 7.
There were many family, friends, and fans who made the trek to show support for the hometown boys.
The Rangers had to win to stay alive in the series and they came out strong.
They dominated all aspects of the game, and when you add that to some temper-related penalties for the Wheat Kings, the Rangers stomped them in a 7-0 win.
Earning the shut out for the Rangers was Jordan Prezanowski with 25 saves.
