Hardisty Stampeders topple Big Valley Oil Kings

Hardisty Stampeder Goaltender Kevin Miller was on fire, stopping 34 of 36 shots

The Hardisty Stampeders hosted the Big Valley Oil Kings in a Battle River Hockey League game on Dec 21.

Despite the very one-sided final score of 11-2 for the Stampeders, the Oil Kings had more shots on goal but Stampeder goalie Kevin Miller was on fire in net.
The game was entertaining for the full house in attendance who had plenty to cheer about.
Non-stop action with few penalties made for an exciting game to watch.
The shots on net were 36 for Big Valley and 33 for the Stampeders.
Hardisty’s Brad MacNab had four goals on the night with an assist for a five point night.
Three Hardisty players had four point games: Chad Nelson and Cam Dion had a pair of goals and a pair of assists each, while Shayne Andres had a goal and three assists.
Getting singles on the night were Tyler Johnson and Travis Morrison.
