Killam-Forestburg RCMP report from August: Police disappointed by theft of walker in Killam

For the period from Oct. 25 to Nov. 10, RCMP received five abandoned 911 calls to deal with, along with a number of false 911 calls made within the county.
Police gave out one stunting with a vehicle ticket in Daysland on Nov. 3.
Killam/Forestburg RCMP received a complaint of a hit and run causing damage in excess of $2,000 in Hardisty on Oct. 31, but the complaintant wasn’t sure where or when the damage had occurred, as it was on the passenger side of the vehicle and not immediately noticed.
Police were notified of a mail fraud scam where the complainant received a fraudulent $1,000 US Postal service Money Order, to ‘test the speed of the bank.’
