Killam RCMP Detachment members have welcomed a new corporal this month, as Corporal James Malone arrived. Malone replaces Cpl. Brent Robinson, who has moved to Rocky Mountain House. Malone comes to Killam from a detachment in Nunavut that was 500 km north of the Arctic Circle.
The Killam RCMP Detachment has a new commander, as Sgt. Judith Devoe has taken up the position. Devoe has replaced Staff Sergeant Lee Brachmann, and comes to Killam from Depot, the RCMP training facility in Regina, where she was an Applied Police Sciences Facilitator for three years.
