All three local BRHL teams played this past weekend. The Hardisty Stampeders won both of their games, while the Sedgewick Sabres and the Daysland Northstars lost their games.
Sabres topple Irma, Tofield over the weekend
Last Friday, Battle River Hockey League action saw the Sedgewick Sabres hosting the Irma Aces in what turned out to be a penalty-filled game with 282 penalty minutes handed out along with eight game misconducts. Sabres won 6-0.
