Sedgewick drops from Regional Governance Study
The Flagstaff Intermunicipal Partnership (FIP) has released notice that the Town of Sedgewick has formally withdrawn from the Regional Governance Sub-Committee.

(The Sedgewick Sentinel, October 31st, 1929) – On Friday night, October 25, the Home Elevator, of which Willie Rose is manager, and the N. Bawlf Elevator, of which E. V. Smith is manager, were broken into by burglars, who secured only a fountain pen from the Home Elevator and some clothing from the Bawlf Elevator.

When Sedgewick residents met in October and November to discuss the closure of Flagstaff Lodge, and the new self-contained seniors housing, one of the concerns identified was the need for residents of the self-contained unit to do their own cooking.
Council enters into new 1 year free trial Peace Officer Agreement
Flagstaff County Council held its regular Council meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 24. During the meeting, council turned to the issue of Peace Officer services. At a previous meeting on Jan. 13, Council decided to offer Peace Officer services to Flagstaff municipalities free of charge for a one-year trial period.
A letter was received from the Town of Sedgewick stating that they wish to continue with the current, paid service.
