Traveller finds loaded 20-gauge shotgun on highway – Killam RCMP Report

rcmp-logo-largeBetween Oct. 24 and Nov. 3 there were nine false alarm calls responded to by the Killam RCMP detachment, and 15 motor vehicle collisions reported.

On Oct. 24, a male contacted Killam RCMP and reported that he had found a 20-gauge shotgun in the middle of Highways 13 and 36.

He stated that he found it around 09:30 while he was driving on Highway 13. He also noted that there was a live round stuck in the shotgun. It appeared as though it had fallen out of a vehicle.
