Forestburg Dance recital ends with “fashion” show
The Forestburg Dance Society presented “Move This” at the Forestburg Community Hall on Sunday, May 6.
There were 37 dancers this year and all participated in the show.

During a recent Hardisty Complex Open House, held Tuesday, Apr. 24, representatives from Enbridge, Kinder Morgan, TransCanada Pipeline, Gibson’s, Husky, Flint Hills, and Inter Pipeline were on hand to answer questions about their operations near Hardisty.
RCMP detachment in Killam expecting two new officers
Sgt. Greg Gerbrandt, NCO of the Killam/ Forestburg RCMP detachment made an announcement earlier this week that the detachment will be welcoming two new members over the next few months.
Constables Andrew Gillan and Richard Holdenried will be moving from B.C. to work at the Killam detachment.
Wheat Kings end 30th season with Awards Evening
The Killam Wheat Kings Jr. B hockey team wrapped up their 2011-12 season with an awards banquet and dance last Friday, Apr. 27 at the Killam Legion which was followed by a dance in the Killam Agriplex.
