The Battle River Football Association’s Rams are looking to have a big team this season with a good mix of players spread evenly from Grade 9 to 12.
The stands were full as the Battle River Football Association’s Rams took to the field under the guidance of coaches Kevin Lefsrud and Darryl Snider on Friday, Sept. 13 for their home opener against the Provost Panthers, with the Rams winning 40 – 12.
When former Edmonton Eskimo, now Viking farmer, Kevin Lefsrud was approached by Ram parent and assistant coach Darryl Snider to coach the Battle River Football Assoc. Rams, things were in dire straights for the team.
