Four weeks into the BRBL nine-week season, the Lakers of Spring Lake are on top of the standings with a perfect record. The Braves and Astros are close behind with only one loss on the season so far.
The BRBL teams met up for week two action, with two come-from-behind wins and two games that were complete blow outs.
After a three week delay, the final series of the BRBL resumed on Tuesday, Aug. 11 in Spring Lake between the Lakers and the Heisler Cardinals.
Game 1 of the Battle River Baseball League playoff finals took place on Tuesday, July 23 in Rosalind, with a BRBL record crowd in attendance.
The Heisler Cardinals hosted their annual baseball tournament on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 with eight teams participating: Spring Lake Lakers, Castor Raiders, Camrose Cougars, Lougheed Wildcats, Provost Combine Pilots, Rosalind A’s, and the Camrose Roadrunners.
The Battle River Baseball League officially started their 2013 season on Wednesday, May 22.
