Prior to this past Christmas, there was a charity ball held in Vancouver called ‘Feeling Frosty.’ The ball is associated with the VIP Girls Natural Pageants, a program that is just celebrating its first year anniversary.
Close to 100 people attended a special 60th anniversary Mass and Supper in Daysland hosted by the Knights of Columbus, Council #4008. This event was held at Our lady of the Prairies Catholic Church on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Daysland Northstars will play a very special game against the Lloydminster Border Kings, on a night they are calling Play for Cancer.
