The Alliance Argyle W.I. hosted Donna Coombs to speak on behalf of the SOS (Service Options for Seniors) on Thursday, Mar. 8 at the Alliance Community Hall. Several seniors were in attendance to listen to Coombs speak on behalf of this non-profit society.
The Killam and Daysland Fire Departments conducted a controlled burn northeast of Killam on Saturday, Mar. 10, at the request of landowners Howard and Brenda Siebold. Siebolds are planning to put a new home in their yard, and needed the original homestead, which had fallen into disrepair, removed.
