Viking RCMP reports person in a white Mercedes SUV flagging down drivers
On February 12, police received complaints of a subject on Highway 14 driving a white SUV Mercedes flagging down vehicles.
The complainant advised a man approached their vehicles stating he needed money for gas and was offering them a gold ring.
The complainants realized it as a scam and did not provide any money to the subject and alerted the police.
Members made extensive patrols in the area and were unable to locate a vehicle of that description.
