Shortly after 8:00 a.m. on Apr. 23, 2025, the St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle head on collision between two trucks near the intersection of Highway 28 and Highway 36.
When police arrived, one female was declared deceased on scene. One male was airlifted to an Edmonton hospital with serious injuries.
The deceased is a 40-year-old female resident of Maskwacis, Alta.
Impairment by drugs or alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the collision.
