Killam Wheat Kings win three in a row

The Killam Wheat Kings Junior B hockey team faced off against the Wainwright Bisons last Wednesday in Killam.
There was not a very big crowd in attendance to support the home team boys.
The play was fast and rough with many unsportsmanlike conduct and roughing calls, along with some dirty play in the third in the form of spearing; safe to say there is no love lost between these two teams.
Sedgewick Sabres split games on weekend

Last Friday, the Sedgewick Sabres travelled to Provost where they played the Blades.
The Sabres were first on the scoreboard with a goal from Ben Starbuck, then three minutes later one from Brent Ottmann.
Daysland stays on top of league with win against Stampeders

The Daysland Northstars and the Hardisty Stampeders played Saturday in Hardisty in a game that would determine who would rise to the top of the standings in the Battle River Hockey League.
Both teams were undefeated at the start of the game.
