ICYMI: RCMP looking to identify suspects of fuel theft

On March 11, Killam RCMP responded to a suspect vehicle lurking in a parking lot in Hardisty.

The suspect vehicle was a grey Ford newer truck with black rims on the front tires and silver rims on the back tires.

The female suspect that was the driver of the vehicle has been identified. The male passenger remains unidentified.

The female initially stopped in Amisk on March 10 and asked a resident for fuel.

She then drove to the Amisk Hotel and asked them for fuel as well. By midnight, the suspects were gone.




In the early hours of March 11, a business in Hardisty was the victim of theft from two of their vehicles.

The occupants of the suspect grey Ford stole registration and insurance documents as well as personal belongings from a vehicle behind a warehouse and in front of the business.

The male suspect appears to be:
• 6 feet tall
• Thin
• Wearing heavy black clothing
• Male
• Caucasian
• 30-40 years of age

The Killam RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect vehicle and male suspect.
