Daysland school joined all the other Battle River School Division schools in celebrating Wednesday, Feb. 29 as pink t-shirt day in support of a national anti-bullying campaign.

Parent Council supplied and served, with help from teachers, breakfast to the pink-clad kids at two stations in the school, one for the elementary, and one for the high school students, getting to the school at 7 a.m. to be ready.

Pancakes, sausages, and a beverage were on the menu, and students also received an anti-bullying bracelet as a reminder to keep speaking and acting out against bullying all year long.

Similar activities were carried out in all the schools in the area, as children learned to speak out against bullying when they see it.
