Daysland Northstars pick up two wins on the weekend
The Daysland Northstars hosted the Tofield Satellites in both teams’ season opener in the Battle River Hockey League last Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Justin Trautman scored on the power play just under the nine minute mark of the second.
Zimmer added one more for the hat-trick with under five mintues left to put the home team up by seven after two periods of play.
In the third period a different Tofield team emerged on the ice. They took control of the puck and the game.
Frazer Regan scored early in the period for the visitors and Chad Urshel scored late in third to make the final 8-2 for the Northstars.
