Lougheed Christmas Fair guests greeted with scents of the season
As visitors entered the Lougheed Community Hall on Sunday, Nov. 24 they were greeted with the sight and scent of fresh Christmas greenery, prepared by the Battle River 4-H Club with a variety of sizes and designs available for sale.
Behind that, the mouthwatering smell of a turkey dinner permeated the hall, making it hard to resist a little pre-Christmas feast. Luckily for organizers, few were able to resist partaking in the delicious meal.
Visitors from all over Flagstaff flocked to Lougheed on Sunday to take in the annual Craft and Turkey Dinner. Before and after eating, visitors took the opportunity to browse some of the many unique items for sale from vendors.
Skillfully carved wooden toy rubberband rifles and pop guns were hard for little and big boys to resist, at Lougheed’s annual Craft and Turkey Dinner Sunday.
