Killam Wheat Kings wrap up season with awards evening
The Killam Wheat Kings Jr. B hockey club held their annual awards and season wind up on Saturday, Apr. 6 in the Killam Community Hall.
Team manager Murray Gaume started the evening off by welcoming parents, sponsors, friends, and players.
All were treated to a roast beef supper before the introductions of board members and players. Two players were unable to attend.
The Wheat Kings’ coach Kelvin Tuftin was the master of ceremonies for the awards. He did a wonderful job adding stories and giving the back story on each individual receiving a award.
