Daysland Students perform in One Crazy Night before Christmas

Parents, grandparents and friends gathered at the Daysland School on the afternoon and Dec. 13 to take in “Twas One Crazy Night Before Christmas.”

The Daysland Elementary students presented the concert before their families.

The concert began with Mr. Payne, Prinicpal, welcoming everyone and for the singing of O Canada.

Then the Kindergarten performed “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” followed by Grade 1 singing “Christmas Time is Comin’.”

The Grade 2 class presented a hilarious “Sleepin’ on the Floor this Christmas” and then the Grade 4 class sang “Love That Martha Stewart,” a real tribute to this fine lady!

The Grade 5 class sang “Will the Real Santa Claus Stand Up;” they had three Santas to pick from and two were Santa Imposters.

Then the Grade 3 class sang “Slippers Again for Christmas,” all wearing lovely slippers they had received previous Christmases.

Next the grade 6 class performed a classic “Touchdown in the Kitchen,” wearing football jerseys and really getting a response from the audience.

The concert finished with Grades 1-6 singing “Something to Believe In” and the Junior and Senior High and Staff Choir singing “Ukrainian Bell Carol.”
