Damien Kurek has secured re-election in the Battle River–Crowfoot riding during the 2025 Canadian federal election, continuing his tenure as the Conservative Member of Parliament for his constituency – an historically conservative heavy riding.
First elected in 2019, Kurek has maintained strong support from constituents, reflecting the riding’s longstanding conservative values. As of 9:30 p.m. MST, Kurek had more than 80% of the vote share for reported polls.
Although the count remains close, CTV, Global, CBC, Yahoo and other media outlets have declared a Liberal Minority victory Monday evening.
Throughout his time in office, Kurek has been active in parliamentary committees, including the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage and the Special Committee on the Canada–People’s Republic of China Relationship. He has also sponsored and supported various bills addressing issues from agriculture to public safety.
