Killam Junior B Wheat Kings hold tryout camp
The Killam Junior B Wheat Kings hockey team held team tryouts for their 2012-13 season starting Friday, Sept. 7 and wrapping up on Sunday, Sept. 9 with an inter-squad game.
On Friday, Shaun Poohacoff, Matt Miske, and former Wheat Kings player Cory Martz put the potential players through a series of drills.
The players were constantly on the move in what was a grueling workout, all under the watchful eye of new head coach Kelvin Tuftin.
A total of 30 skaters and three goalies came out to earn a spot on the team.
