Hardisty man charged with possession of stolen property
On July 22, 2024, Killam RCMP responded to a report of a truck on fire outside of the town of Hardisty, with two indivduals seen leaving the area soon after.
Upon arrival, officers located the two with the assistance of Police Dog Services.
As a result of the investigation, completed with assistance from ‘K Division’ Auto Theft, one male has been charged.
Jared Lizee, a 39-year-old resident of Hardisty, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Jared was released on an Appearance Notice and is scheduled to appear on October 1, 2024 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Killam, Alberta.
