Forestburg Concert a treat for the audience

The Forestburg Community Centre was full to the brim as the Forestburg elementary hosted their Spring Concert on Wednesday, June 7.

Master of ceremonies, Mrs. Karen Blumhagen welcomed everyone and then introduced Kayley Jackson to sing O Canada.

The Band Seven played Beethoven’s Ninth followed by a ‘Welcome’ by the Kindergarten.

They then performed ‘Baby Bumblebee’ – a hilarious tune about a bumblebee landing on them.

Band Seven played two more numbers, ‘Gallant March’ and ‘Power Rock’ with the Grade 1 class singing ‘Pink Panther’ in between.

The Grade 2 class sang the ‘Lollipop Tree’ followed by Band 8-10 performing ‘The Flint-stones.’
