September 20, 2024
Attempted Vehicle Theft
A resident from the southwest end reported damage to the driver’s side lock and ignition of his 2006 Chevrolet Silverado.
Shoplifting Incident
A west-end grocery store reported a shoplifting incident involving a 31-year-old female. She was found with stolen property and was subsequently issued a Trespass Notice, barring her from returning to the store.
Attempted Vehicle Theft
Police received a second complaint from a resident whose 2008 Ford Ranger had its locks and ignition damaged.
Shoplifting Incident
At approximately 5:30 p.m., a west-end grocery store reported a shoplifting incident. A 36-year-old female suspect was issued a Trespass Notice.

Fire
At approximately 5:30 a.m., a resident in the southwest end reported a fire near the back of their residence. The investigation is ongoing.
Hit and Run
A citizen reported that the bumper of his 2014 grey Jeep Wrangler was struck while parked in a restaurant parking lot. Police are awaiting video surveillance to continue with the investigation.

Shoplifting Incident
At approximately 1:30 p.m., a west-end business reported a shoplifting incident. A 31-year-old female was issued a Trespass Notice.
Theft from Motor Vehicle
A downtown resident reported the theft of her vehicle’s license plate.
Assault
An 18-year-old male reported being assaulted at a downtown bar. The 28-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged. He will appear in court at a later date.
Fire
At approximately 10:30 p.m., Police and Fire responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a piece of heavy equipment on fire at a construction site. The matter is still under investigation.
Break and Enter
An east-end business reported that their lot had been broken into earlier in the week. A male suspect attempted to steal two vehicles. This investigation remains ongoing.
