Theft of Bicycle
A residence reported his daughters’ bike had been stolen from the swimming pool. The theft is still under investigating.
Impaired Operation
A routine traffic stop was conducted in the downtown area. The 26-year-old male drive displayed signs of impairment and was subsequently issued Immediate Roadside Sanctions.
Warrants
At approximately 3:00 AM a traffic stop was conducted on a male and female riding bikes. The 35-year-old male was determined to have an outstanding warrant out of Calgary and was arrested.
August 14, 2024
Theft of Truck
At approximately 6:30 AM, a resident reported witnessing his truck being stolen from his north side residence. The vehicle was later recovered by RCMP in Strathcona County.
Break and Enter
A resident on the north side reported that her garage had been broken into and a window on her vehicle had been damaged. The investigation is ongoing.
Public Intoxication
While on routine patrol, police encountered a 29-year-old female who was grossly intoxicated. She was arrested and detained until sober.
August 13, 2024
Break and Enter
A resident in the northeast reported that her garage had been broken into over the weekend, with several items stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
Fraud
An east-end business reported that a male had purchased merchandise totaling over $6,500 using a fraudulent credit card. The investigation is still active.
Theft from Motor Vehicle
A resident from the northeast reported that their license plate had been stolen from their vehicle.
Break and Enter
An east-end business reported that two males had entered their locked compound. A 31-year-old and a 63-year-old male were arrested and charged with break and enter. Both individuals will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
Public Intoxication
While on routine patrol, police encountered a 31-year-old male who was grossly intoxicated. The individual was arrested and detained until sober.

Warrants
A 34-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants from Calgary and has been released. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Bylaw
A resident reported that his dog was attacked while walking in a residential area. The 36-year-old owner of the dogs involved has been charged with violations under the local dog bylaw.
Warrants
A 34-year-old male was also arrested on outstanding warrants from Medicine Hat. He is set to appear in court at a later date to address the charges.
