Report on recent Camrose Police Incidents
On July 22 – A bicycle was reported stolen from a downtown residence. A picture of the bicycle was provided to the police, and the incident is under investigation.
On July 23 – During a routine stop, a 53-year-old male showed signs of impairment. An Approved Screening Device (ASD) test was conducted, and the male failed. The vehicle was subsequently towed.
On July 24 – During a routine stop, a 28-year-old male showed signs of impairment. An ASD test was conducted, and the male failed. The vehicle was subsequently towed, and the male was also issued a violation ticket for having transport liquor within reach.

Break and Enter
An enclosed trailer was broken into and tools were stolen from it in the downtown area. The police are investigating the incident.
Harassing Communications
A complainant had advised that they had been texting someone who is now threatening to leak information if a certain amount of money is not paid. The incident is under investigation.
Impaired Driving
A hit-and-run incident was reported in the east end of the city. The suspect vehicle was located and stopped. The police determined that the 31-year-old male driver was intoxicated and issued an Immediate Roadside Suspension (IRS).
