Flagstaff County all set to go live with Santa and Mrs. Claus

Flagstaff County is extending a special invitation to the boys and girls in the region, to join in a live Facebook chat with Santa and Mrs. Claus, directly from the North Pole, happening next Thursday, Dec. 16.

In recent years, it has become a tradition for Santa to drop by Flagstaff County to give Flagstaff children the chance to visit before Christmas, but with COVID-19 restrictions, that isn’t possible right now, same as last year.

Instead, Flagstaff County used its connection to the North Pole via special satellite to present Santa on Facebook live last year, where Santa and Mrs. Claus answered 100 questions, and heard children’s wish lists.

When things started looking like 2021 would still have restrictions, arrangements were made again this year to do another live feed with Santa.

Flagstaff County will again use its special satellite to transform into the North Pole broadcast station, and will relay all the questions and comments from local kids directly to Santa.

Don’t miss it, the event will go live on the Flagstaff County Facebook page at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16.

Until things can return to normal, it’s the next best thing to being there in person. Flagstaff’s Kerri Lefsrud adds, “Santa has already agreed to come down for a face-to-face visit for 2022!”
