Just what can you do with a Parkland Library card?

If you’ve ever heard of the expression “like a kid in a candy store,” you might have some idea how exciting it finally is to have a Parkland Regional Library card through any Flagstaff Library.

Through the Parkland Library system, library members have access to darn near every library book in the province.

But not just books. Newspapers, magazines, movies, music, E-Books, audio books, Internet access (the fastest anywhere around), and computer access.

There are also activities, like tutorials, reading clubs, book clubs, crafting groups, access to The Alberta Research Portal.

Alberta libraries offer access to a genealogy database that provides access to millions of records.

Patrons can access consumer reports for everything under the sun before making major purchases.

Students can get homework help and tests for the Alberta Grades 3 through 12 curriculum.

If you’re interested in learning a new language, or seeing if you can, there’s “Pronunciator,” with lessons in 80 different languages.
