Did you miss our Forestburg Centennial Souvenir Edition? Read it now online:

Forestburg held its Centennial Celebrations the weekend of August 2 to 4, with incredible village-wide festivities. Check out the coverage in the August 7 edition of The Community Press.

Speaking of The Community Press, we decided to contribute to the 100th celebrations with a special souvenir newspaper, which contained primarily interesting stories and clippings from our extensive archives. Because the much-anticipated Forestburg History Book was also launching that weekend, we didn’t want to display village historical milestones in chronological order because we felt there was no way we could even come close to the years of work those volunteers put in. Instead, we tried to find a great collection that we felt displayed Forestburg’s incredible community spirit.

If you would like to grab a physical copy, call our office in Killam 780-385-6693 or email ads@thecommunitypress.com to reserve one while supplies last.

Thank you to the incredible advertisers who helped make this special edition newspaper possible. Remember to always support local business!
