A new year, a new business in your future with the REACH program
The dawn of the new year tends to compel many of us to explore the potential of that long-daydreamed-about business idea we have kept tucked away in our imaginary “perhaps someday” file.
But where do I start? How do I know what information I will need? And how will I use this information to make smart decisions relating to my business idea?
These are crucial questions every potential entrepreneur should try to answer. If this is the year you decide to take the first critical steps to become a successful entrepreneur, the Flagstaff REACH Program can help you with those questions – and many more.
The first priority for every entrepreneur should be to “start a successful business,” one that will create profits and has a high likelihood of success for years to come. It is well proven that entrepreneurs who take the time to “plan to succeed” are much more likely to start successful and sustainable businesses.
But what does “plan to succeed” mean?
In a nutshell, planning to succeed starts with learning all you can about the type of business you are considering, and finding out all you can about who your customers are and what the costs and complexities of running the enterprise involve.
When you have this information, you can then use it to create a business plan for your proposed new venture.
The Flagstaff REACH Program is specifically tailored to help new entrepreneurs “plan to succeed” and ultimately start or grow a successful business.
The Flagstaff REACH Program is delivered in the Flagstaff Region and will be provided at no-cost to the participating entrepreneurs thanks to the financial support of Flagstaff County and the Province of Alberta.
The benefits of the Flagstaff REACH Program will also be of interest to existing businesses in the Flagstaff Region looking to grow or expand their markets or seeking business coaching and ongoing support.
There will be many opportunities to participate in training workshops on topics important to every business, including marketing, financial management, operational efficiencies, and legal issues.
