Legendary rockers Trooper pack the house in Sedgewick
Legendary Canadian rock band Trooper made their first Sedgewick appearance on Sunday, July 15, putting on a terrific show for a big crowd at the Wild Rose Co-op Recreation Centre.
The crowd got a great warmup from Sweet Tequila, the evening’s opening act, then moved right into a non-stop, supercharged performance from Trooper, with Ra McGuire in full voice from his first note. “A very good friend of mine, told me something the other day….
“We’re here for a good time, not a long time.” The band started out with one of their most iconic hits, and set the tone for a great evening.
Even if you think you don’t know Trooper, you probably do, as many found out to their delight as they sang along to every song.
