Notable visitors of international fame enjoy stop in Killam

Dr. Sam and Janet Ogbeide had some very special visitors last Tuesday, when Richard Mofe-Damijo and Samuel Oboh and his daughter Noora came to Killam. Mofe-Damijo, commonly known as RMD, is a very famous Nigerian actor, having starred in over 49 films, and won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards. He was in Alberta to appear at a special event in Edmonton that evening, part of the U of A International’s Global Education Program. Oboh was recently inducted as the 76th President of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and has also received the Presidential Medal from the American Institute of Architects.
